Food, Inc. to Open in Theaters Nationwide This Week

It's been playing at theaters on the coasts since last week, but here in Flyover Country we're forced to wait until Friday to see Food, Inc., Robert Kenner's documentary about the industrialization of the American food industry.

According to Indiewire, the film is performing well and getting loads of favorable press, and according to the site, at one point last week it ranked #20 out of all Google searches.

Dorothee and I are planning to attend an early screening of the film tonight in Chicago, and we'll report back if we get to see the film. For now, here's a video of Robert Kenner's recent interview with PBS Now's David Brancaccio:
