Organic Pick of the Week: Bija Omega Truffles

If you're a chocolate lover and haven't tried Flora's Bija Omega Truffles yet, you're in for a treat. I found them at my local Whole Foods store in a refridgerator near the vitamins. That's because with with a full serving of Udo's 3•6•9 Oil Blend, they're packed with 8 grams of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. So this chocolate is not only delicious, it's also good for your heart health.

And boy do I love an excuse to indulge in good chocolate! My favorite flavor is milk chocolate with hazelnut, though it also comes in dark and white chocolate. The truffles are made with 99% organic ingredients that are certified by QAI. Think: cocoa butter from Peru, Madagascar vanilla beans and hazelnuts from British Columbia combined in four melt-in-your-mouth morsels.

Uh oh, I think I feel a chocolate emergency coming on...
