That's a Wrap: Reflecting on the East Coast Tour

After a long, two-day drive from Vermont, with stops in Western New York and Southeastern Michigan, we're back in Chicago today, resting and recovering from two weeks on the road. The East Coast Tour was a great success -- we shot a video almost every day we were on the road -- but we couldn't have done any of it without the help and hospitality of countless family members and friends (new and old), who fed us, sheltered us, and showed us around the Northeast during our travels.

In case you haven't been following, the tour officially began in New York City, where we hosted a Brooklyn meet & greet, visited an urban farm, shot videos at a night club and an eco fashion boutique, and of course, got our car impounded. From there, we headed north, making stops in Darien, CT; New Haven, CT; Boston, MA; Portland, ME; Unity, ME; Burlington, VT; Waitsfield, VT, and many points in between.

We'll be working on editing the videos from the East Coast Tour in the coming weeks, but for an idea of where we've been and what we've seen, check out the photos I've uploaded to our Flickr page (and I'll be adding more in the coming days). Tomorrow, we're back on the road again, heading down to St Louis for Farm Aid and the Homegrown Urban Country Fair.
