Time for Lunch! Attend an Eat-In on Monday

Want to improve the quality of school lunch? Slow Food USA is asking people around to country to sit down and share a pot-luck meal with neighbors in public places on Monday, September 7, to send the message to Congress that it's time to provide schoolchildren with real food at school.

According to a Slow Food press release, "The Eat-Ins will draw attention to the need for real, healthy food
for the more than 30 million children who participate in the National School Lunch Program.  
The program is part of the Child Nutrition Act that Congress will reauthorize later this year."

So far, 295 "Eat-Ins" have been scheduled around the country. You can use this map to find an "Eat-In" location in your area.
