  • Author David Kirby seeks to answer the question, "Is Obama ready to take on factory farming?" The president is a little busy right now, but Kirby makes a good case for the Obama administration at least cracking down on CAFOs and addressing agricultural water pollution.
  • Citing a new study from the University of Wisconsin, The Rodale Institute warns that exposure to very low levels of pesticide can have lasting effects on female offspring. 
  • The nonprofit Gracelinks posted a good video about an urban farm in Bed-Stuy that faces closure.
