• Remember Mother Nature Network's "40 Farmers Under 40" feature that ran a few months ago? Today they've got a new one: 40 Chefs Under 40, and most of them are known for sourcing food from organic farms.

• A new report from the Organic Center, the Union of Concerned Scientists and the Center for Food Safety reports that the use of GE crops has led to significant increases in pesticide and herbicide use over the past 13 years, as well as a rise in herbicide-resistant "superweeds."

• Maria Rodale offers some tips on finding and roasting an organic turkey at the Huffington Post, urging buyers to look locally before settling on a mail-order service.
